Vながら

V-masu-stem + ながら = 'while doing V'. 聞き = masu-stem of 聞く.

  • 音楽を聞きながら、勉強します。

    I study while listening to music.

  • テレビを見ながら、ご飯を食べます。

    I eat while watching TV.

  • 電話しながら、歩きます。

    I walk while talking on the phone.

  • コーヒーを飲みながら、話しましょう。

    Let's talk while drinking coffee.

ながら follows the masu-stem. 聞く → 聞きます → 聞き.
