テレビをつけっぱなしで寝てしまった。
I fell asleep with the TV left … on.
水を出しっぱなしにして、水道代が高くなった。
I left the water running …, so the water bill got expensive.
窓を開けっぱなしにしておくと、虫が入るよ。
If you leave the window open …, bugs will come in.
エアコンをつけっぱなしで外出してしまった。
I went out leaving the AC … on.
Vた+きり 'since / after doing, nothing happened'. Shows no further action after that point. 会ったきり.
一度会ったきり、もう連絡がない。
… we met once, there's been no contact.
去年帰国したきり、会っていない。
… he returned to his country last year, we haven't met.
3年前に引っ越したきり、連絡を取っていない。
… I moved 3 years ago, I haven't contacted them.
彼女は「さようなら」と言ったきり、振り返らなかった。
… she said 'goodbye', she didn't look back.
N+まみれ 'covered in / smeared with'. Usually for dirt, blood, sweat. Has negative/undesirable nuance. 泥まみれ.
工事現場で働いて、服が泥まみれになった。
Working at the construction site, my clothes got … mud.
試合が終わって、選手たちは汗まみれだった。
After the match, the players were … sweat.
事故現場は血まみれだった。
The accident scene was … blood.
転んで、ひざが血と泥まみれになった。

N+だらけ 'full of / riddled with'. Negative nuance for undesirable things. 間違いだらけ.
